Privacy Policy for Mullinz SOS

1. Introduction

Mullinz Tech ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information through the Mullinz SOS application ("the App") to provide emergency intervention and security services.

2. Prominent Disclosure: Background Location Access

To provide life-saving SOS services, Mullinz SOS collects location data to enable emergency intervention and tracking even when the app is closed or not in use. The App requires Background Location access to:

Identify the user's precise GPS coordinates during an active SOS alarm.
Allow the central Security Control Room to navigate to and intervene at the user's exact location.
Provide real-time updates to security personnel during an ongoing incident.

Users must explicitly grant permission for "Allow all the time" location access to ensure these features work during an emergency.

3. Information We Collect

Location Information: We collect precise GPS coordinates (Latitude/Longitude).
Personal Information: We collect your Name, Email Address, and Phone Number.
Device Information: Basic device metadata to ensure the SOS signal is linked to the correct user account.

4. How We Use Your Information

Emergency Response: To share your location with the central Control Room to facilitate an intervention.
Communications: To send incident reports, verify your safety via phone, or provide updates regarding security status.
Service Functionality: To maintain your user account and verify your identity as an authorized client.

5. Data Storage and Security

All collected data is securely stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) servers. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to protect your data during transit from the app to the server.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your location and contact info are shared only with the authorized central Control Room and designated security personnel for the sole purpose of emergency response.

7. Data Retention

Location tracking is active only while an SOS alarm is triggered. We retain location data from the moment an SOS alarm is set off until the incident is marked as "Closed" by either the user or the security company. Personal contact information is retained as long as the user maintains an active account.

8. User Controls: Account Deletion and Deactivation

We believe in user autonomy. You have the right to:

Deactivate: Temporarily disable app features.
Delete: You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the app settings or by contacting us at MullinzTech@gmail.com. Upon request, all personal data and history will be permanently erased from our Firebase servers within 30 days.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
